Revenue Management is the art of managing prices through the demand curve (the demand up to the date of arrival) so that people who are willing to pay more pay a higher rate, while cheaper rates are available when the hotel is not going to be full. We developed the Revenue Management Solution (RMS) understanding the need to manage rates, based on customer insights, as it has become more and more complex.
Today, travelers access different sites on the internet prior to making a reservation in a hotel. A quick overview of availability and related rates with conditions is important when a customer makes an offline reservation (phone, e-mail, fax, walk-ins). Whereas for online bookings, pricing and distribution (availability and rates) is of utmost importance; be it in your own hotel website or travel portals. Preferably, rates should be consistent over offline and online channels.
